Internet Explorer 7 & S8300/G700

I am running Internet Explorer 7 on my laptop. When using the Avaya Installation Wizard I end up in a loop and cannot complete due to a failure of a security certificate. If I use Internet Explorer 6 all is ok. Has anyone else had problems with IE7 on a new S8300/G700 install? Does anyone know of a fix for this?
 
Don't use IE 7. I doesn't play nice with many things.
 
Hi Everyone,

Was wondering, because I think our team is about to upgrade to IE 7 - I have 8300's and G700 gateways already configured but I beleive sometimes you have to reconfigure them... Does anyone know if there is an Avaya patch for this?? IE 7's been around for a while I think.

it is possible
you have to do something with the certificates
i don't know how but i have seen somebody busy with it and got it working

i have IE7 & i havent had an issue yet going into my 8300's. i get the usual cert. error but thats about it
 
It,s not a problem to login a S8xxx but you just can complete the installation wizard the first time!!

So if the S8xx is installed the you don,t have a problem.

I have now completed the wizard install with IE6 in the office, but I will still have problems onsite if I need to reload a new system with my laptop and IE7
