Anyone know a way in Windows 2000 Professional to allow the Internet Explorer settings to be configured one time for all users. I'm having an issue where the Internet Connection Wizard wants to launch with every new person who logs in for the first time. Oye.. what a pain.

Thanks

this is default behavior for A brand new user logon. I have used the IE administration kit...(which can be found on Microsofts site). It allows a single point to completely customize and then Burn or distribute a customized version of IE...with all settings installed... (and its a great tool to upgrade all users with IE6). As far as getting the connection wizard to stop happening. you might try copying a users profile to the "Default User" folder in "documents and settings". The Default user is the "template" that Windows uses to start a new account up. If you copied...oh, say "Your account" to the "Default User" folder...it would essentially make everybody ...."you" to begin, setting-wise.

Maybe this will help, I hope so.
