Internet Error Messages

Can somebody point me to a site, or even an RFC, that has a good detailed description of what error messages mean. I'm specifically looking for a good description that would help me understand what causes a 400 - Bad Request error.

I've run web searches and I've searched the RFC database myself and I can't find anything substantial, only fluff.

Hello!

Error messages with 400 series are related with client side, check if you are trying to access a valid page of site (defualt document).
