All pc's on our network have Internet access through a ADSL router. How do i block them from accessing the the Internet directly by putting in a proxy on the LAN.
There is no LAN settings configured in IExplorer.
There are man free proxy's out there. Here are a few. Most of them will give you step by step instructions on how to install over your lan. Hope this helps.
My question: How do i block them from accessing the Internet directly by putting in a proxy on the LAN.
I know i can use several proxies available but how do i disable users from connecting directly to the Internet the way its setup now.
Basicly i dont understand this direct Internet access through ADSL Netgear router because i came from a proxy LAN to proxy ISP environment
Netgear DG834GT. DHCP and DNS etc is configured on the router.
Users are connected to a switch.
Is a server/workstation environment with a few workgroups in place, but will implement full SBS 2003 soon.
