I have a problem that if a computer gets and IP address from one DHCP server the internet works and if the address is issued from the other it doesn't, comes up with Spoofed Source Address on FB!
I am trying to migrate our network from one domain to the other and shut down the old domain and hardware. At present the network consists of 2 domains on the same subnet. Network address range 192.2.67.1 to 192.2.67.254. Gateway is 192.2.67.31
DHCP in Domain1 issues 192.2.67.1 to 192.2.67.199, DHCP in Domain2 issues 192.2.67.200 to 192.2.67.254.
All Scope and server options are set the same.
When logged into domain2 and issued an address from the DHCP in domain2 the ip given is 192.2.67.204, subnet 255.255.255.0 and Gateway of 192.2.67.31, however I cannot gain access to the internet or ping the gateway.
when logged into domain2 and isseud an address from DHCP in domain1, or logedd into domain1 and issued an address from either DHCP server everything is ok.
If I set the IP manually while logged into domain2 ie 192.2.67.204 255.255.255.0 and gateway of 192.2.67.31 I can access the internet.
In Summary the only scenario that fails is when I log onto domain2 and am issued an address from the DHCP in domain2!!!!
Can you help?
