International phone number validation/formatting

Does anyone know of a good (for-free or for-fee) C# compatible code/plug-in that will validate and format international phone numbers from many different formats?

If you had a list of formats it would be easy to create a validator class using Regex.

This is a surprisingly difficult thing to do. I started on a library to do it, but never finished it.

Suggest you spend some time at the ITU website to see all the bizarre formats that people use around the world are.

Chip, I looked at the ITU website - but it's quite large. Could you please post a URL to the specific ITU page to which you refer?
