I have a problem concerning the Internal Interface in RRAS on Win 2k Server. The Interface shows the Ip address as unknown and a "Non-Operational" in the operational status. It was working until I restarted my Win 2k Server. Before I restarted, the interface showed an Ip address and a "Connected" status in the operational status. I have been looking everywhere on the Microsoft web page and in TechNet for this issue. The only thing I can find about the Internal Interface is that it represents all RRAS clients. No settings have been changed before or after my restart. I am using Win 2k Server to be a router and remote access server between two intranets. My clients on one intranet connect to my other intranet through a VPN using RADIUS. I checked my Win NT 4.0 server and the RADIUS service is still up and my WIN 2k Server is still listed as an client. If anyone can give Info or Links regarding my issue I would be very grateful.

Thanks,
Kris

Wow 1st off I want to thank you for such a quick reply. The problem I am still having is I can't get VPN access. It was working when the Internal Interface showed Connected as the status. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
kris

Nothing shows up in the event log. I have it setup to show errors or warnings. The same for my Win NT 4.0 server(RADIUS) nothing in the event log. The VPN times out when I try to login. I have tried to log in from two different clients. I have the correct permissions to access the VPN. I even checked my RADIUS Password and it is correct on both ends. Like I said its weird the only thing that has happened between it working and not working is a Restart. If I can give you any more details please let me know. I have also tried to set this up on another Win2k server. The same is true for it regarding the Internal Interface. The reason I run RADIUS on my WIN NT 4.0 server is because we are still running NT 4.0 Domain. The Win 2k Servers right now are just added to the domain. They in no way act as a Domain Controller.
thanks,
kris
