This is driving me crazy...our Domain's internal DNS servers can't resolve to any "co.uk" websites. If I refresh our internal DNS, it works fine for about a week, and then is unable to resolve again. We're running Windows Server 2008. Any ideas?

Hi, Chris.
We have the local domain set up, and we are not using
andy forwarder.

Thanks for your response

- Jim

Then how were you resolving CO.UK websites in the past? Typically and internal domain would have a forwarder to internet DNS.

The server is using root hints. That's how it's been since I've been here ( about 2 years ).

Thanks

- Jim

I would configure your server to forward queries to OpenDNS's servers. 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. If that resolves the issue, then you can stop worrying about it.
