I've said many times on site and others, I will never recommend anyone to buy PCChips boards and I will always tell them to stay away from PCChips. Yes, there's the argument that some people just can't afford another brand, but then there's the argument that it's simply not worth buying a cheap computer if all it gives you is headaches.
I've personally put together a few computers with PCChips boards - simply because of their attractive price. Each motherboard turned out to be buggy, unstable, horrendous driver support (the cd was missing some required files to install the network card...). I remember every time trying to install drivers for an HP printer, Windows would lock up (this was right after a fresh install). Their boards also have the strange ability to slow down over time even with fresh OS installs - just search the internet for other's reviews on this company.
On the other hand, more and more of the big name companies are coming out with boards based on the SiS 730 chipset (if it's an AMD processor you're looking for), an example is the Asus AS7-VM, with integrated video, sound, and network. You don't have to pay Asus prices, there are others good boards out there, the ECS's board has been discussed in this forum I know.
Bottom line is, there are better ways of building a cheap computer then buying a PCChips mainboard - those boards are simply not worth the headaches.
