Iam telecommunication technician and i want to ask if it's possible to loobback a Cisco router interface towards carrier.
The reason is that when i test a leased line (64k,128k,E1)
i test all my equipment until before router. When i ask the technicians that install the router to give me a loob towards carrier to check, they all answer me that they don't know if they can loop back the router. Please if anybody knows tell me if there is a specific command or if is different for different types of interfaces.
Thank you.

You can put a loop back on the circuit towards the ISP's end but this is done by the telco and not done on the router.

Chris.
