Interconnecting MITEL3300 with any PABX

I'd like to know how can I interconnect Mitel 3300 PABX with any other, for example with an Asterik, what parameters, protocols and steps I should configure and so on. Thanks

I can only speak for myself but I don't have time to provide a complete How-To to connect a 3300 to ANY other PBX

There are many methods and the method used would be completely dependant on the equipment available.

If you have a specific question, I'm sure someone can answer, otherwise ...

We have interconnected MiVB to other pabx's using SIP trunks and E1 Interfaces (as Qsig or ISDN).

The Type of interface chose was mostly based upon what the other pabx would most easily support.
- if it was a TDM pabx which already had an ISDN link then we would choose ISDN , if it could support Qsig we chose Qsig
if it was an IP Pabx then SIP.

With each one there are positves and negatives to take into account.

For an asterix i would probably look at SIP trunks ( MiVb would need licenses)
