intercom between secretary and manager 1

Hopefully someone can help me out.
I created an intercom group for a secretary and and her manager and programmed auto-icom buttoms pointing to the group and DC but pressing these buttons still requires user interaction ie pressing the line to pick up.

What I'm looking to do, is setup up an intercom, where the manager can call his secretary and it automatically answers and both can talk with no action required by the secretary (unless she's on the phone of course) and vice versa. It would be really handy if she could intercom him to say so and so is on line 1 etc.

I tried the auto answer feature, but all that does is make every call answered, which she isnt any good. I'm hoping to configure a two-way intercom

Firstly - set up an intercom group and put manager and secretary into this group.
Give both phones auto answer field (page 2) as icom.
Put in an auto-icom button with the group and intercom group dc into the respective phones.

This will then dial the manager/secretary with 1 ring and then answer. It will not auto answer any calls except the intercom.
