We have been receiving an error from one of our web servers that wasnt the most enlightening error message so I searched for more detail in the error message pdf.

I found the problem and it suggested that running the busobj.exe on the server directly in interactive mode would give a much more detailed error message that would enable the identity of the problem.

Does anyone know what interactive mode is and how I would go about running busobj.exe in interactive mode direct on the server.

TIA

Interactive mode, means running the client as a normal process. Just find the busobj.exe and run it. Log on and run the report. See what error you get.

Thanks for your promt reply - I have done this and the process runs fine but when I try to run a FC doc through Webi on this specific server it errors with error:

Internal error Unable to launch Business Objects server process. (Error: BOMGR 0220) (sjmb133as.retail.littlewoods.co.uk)
(returned by function Get list of OLAP Security Prompts) )

Cheers
