We have Exchange 2003 and installed the Intelligent Message filter to help control spam......my question is, where in the filter do I say "allow email from this email address" ? There is certain emails that are being caught by the filter and I want them to go through. I tried adding them to the Exception list on the Connection Filtering page, but that didn't seem to help--they are still caught.....

Also, some other strange behavior....if I send an email from my personal address to my work address (where Exchange and filter are set up), it is caught by the filter. (Curiouser, if I don't include any subject line or text in the email, it will go through....?) For this problem, I want to add my personal email address to an 'allow sender' list.......

Help!

Thanks, but at a quick glance it appears I have to purchase a product for this? That's nuts!

You could try using a script to enumerate through the SPAMs and search for valid email addresses and then automatically deliver the message.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

Thanks, but it seems like such a simple thing to ask of such a robust product (Exchange)......to have an allow sender list....

I am not capable of writing script to enumberate through the SPAMS....that's for sure......!
