Just a general quick response would be appreciated from you tech gurus. Which CPU delivers more power.
I want to build a workstation for multimedia.
However, I don't have clue on which setup I should purchase.
I want to be cheap and cost effective so:
Should I purchase a dual PII 450Mhz 512K workstation or a dual PII 450Mhz 2Mb workstation?
What's the difference, and which one is more power driven.

I would most definitely appreciate a response.
Have a wonderful Christmas everyone,
Ciao,

Manni

Obviously PII Zeon is more powerful than ordinary P-II. Cost wise, Xeon may be available at the same price as PII in the second hand market and if that is same, then Zeon is a bettr buy. But with these prices, think / compare the prices of newer CPUs.

But what is more economical / enough depends on your requirements from that pc. I cannot comment on that. ramani :-9
