I have two new w/s with Intel 845 MB Intel P4 1.6 processors loaded with 98SE and Novell 5 Client and 1 old Dos w/s with Novell Doswin32 (this one works ok). Server is new Intel P4 D845EBG2 MB with Novell 5. Each of the two new w/s have a parallel 320 Okidata Turbo printer (one new & one old) attached. I downloaded new Okidata drivers from Okidata and installed in 98se. Test page printed correctly on both. I setup a DOS icon on desktop to go to the Dos Program, which works correctly and prints correctly. When the 2 new w/s are turned off and server downed, then turned on the next morning, the Dos program does everything it should EXCEPT print (error that printer not available) We can make the printer work each morning IF we go to Start, Settings, Printer, right click on printer, properties & print test page, then the Dos program works as it should. We have to take out the invoices and do this on both computers. The environment is too dirty to leave the computers on all the time.

I also tried hitting F8, command prompt, and doing print screen, works fine there. So what is changing & how do I correct the problem? Thanks for any help!
