I recently upgrade my RIS server from 2000 to 2003. Now my desktops (Compaq with Intel NIC's) aren't able to PXE boot. Desktops with Broadcom NIC's boot fine.
Get's IP address fine.
Error message is:
TFTP
PXE-T01: File not found
PXE-E3B: TFTP Error file not found
PXE-M0f: Exiting Intel PXE ROM
I've had a look on HP's website for the latest BIOS revision but they already have the latest (2002).
I've tried moving the startrom.com file from \oschooser\i386\startrom.com to
startrom.com
but no luck.
Only think I haven't tried is to update the Intel NIC BIOS but I'm not sure that is such a good idea.
