Hi all

I'm having an issue with the drivers for this mobo i've downloaded all of the latest drivers from Intel and added them to my Win XP SP2 CD they should be added during install. Everything appears to install just fine except for the sound card, the LAN, Chipset and VGA are all fine the problem is that i cannot add the sound driver after this as i receive an error.

"Microsoft bus driver should be loaded in your system before installing Realtek HD audio driver."

If i install the system from scratch with an ordinary XP CD then all drivers will install fine, i'm thinking the Chipset driver isn't quite installing correctly.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks.

Run windows update if you have an internet connection. You probably need the "Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) high-definition audio class driver".

Yeh i'm pretty sure your right but i think it must be part of the chipset drivers as if i add them manually it works but not when i integrate them into the CD. I'm trying to automate the install so i don't want to have to visit windows update on each machine after install.

Cheers.
