Hello, After i made mu BE/FE split, only my FE still forced to use the correct .mdw security file.

I did set security rules in the workgrp for my BE, while using the workgrp everything is fine, I can denie access to people.. BUT.. if i just open the BE without the workgrp set, like the default system one, i have free access on the BE..

When i do that on my FE, it tell me i must be ine the workgrp to open it, any way to make it same for my BE. I know i can make a shortcut with /wrkgrp, but that wont stop people to go directly open m BE and screw it up if they aren t using any workgrp ...

any clue?

Sounds like you did not remove either ADMIN's permissions and/or users group permissions from your BE. Both must be done. Also, the DB owner should be changed to the new admistrator (if it is still ADMIN).

Haaa Thx MoLaker

Evreything is fine now.

The error msg that regular Admin is kinda weird though, instead say u dont have access to this BD, it s say there is a problem with the conversion of the BD from older to new version, but i never did a convertion heh.
