I've created a VP3 program, and it was running with out any problems for months until I uncompressed it from a back up.

but now, when I try to run it from an compiled EXE I get an 'Insufficient Memory' error. But if I run the program though FoxPro itself.. there's no problems.

any ideas, of what could be causeing this?!

PogoWolf,
Are you sure that the Development and Runtime versions are the same? Are you running 3.0, or 3.0b? How much memory is installed on this workstation? Many times "Insufficient Memory" is really due to too much memory available (don't you just love error messages!), and the Dev Environment definitely takes more room than the Runtime.

I had the same problem about a year or so ago.

In my case, it had to do with newer machines being brought in, kind of like the FPW26/333MHz+ machines.

I couldn't find a "speed patch," so I re-compiled in VFP5 and all was well. Geoffrey A. Winkworth
