Installing XP

I am trying to install XP on a new HDD on a Abit KG7 Raid M/board.

The HDD is a IBM Deskstar 127GB and I have installed the latest bios and am using the latest HP370 drivers.
All is well until I get to the screen where to create the partition and I get the message "Unknown disk" although it recognises that it is 127 Gb in size and is unpartitioned.

Have you checked on IBM's web site for an XP driver? You may need to download it to floppy and use the "F8" install path so you can install 3rd party drivers.
