Installing WIN2K ON POWEREDGE SC420

I have run into problems with setting up a mirror. The system ran fine for a few weeks and then crashed. I lost both drives. I was using the raid utility of Win2K
I can reinstall Win2K, but when I enable raid, the machine fails during boot.
I then tried the builtin Raid and the system will not boot. I have tried a number of things to install the Raid driver and the system continues to fail. Turnoff Raid and the system runs fine.
I have not run the OS long enough to know how stable it will be without Raid enabled.
