Installing Visual basic .net to Windows2000

I have a customer who has a problem installing Visual Basic .net to Windows2000. I tried it too and it asking all kind updates to install before installation even starts. I have servicepack 4 installed and I tried to install security updates and IIS and frontpage but they cannot be installed.

what are requirements to install Visual basic .net and how I can get it working with windows2000 sp4. I dont do programming, so I dont know what is the problem?

Usually you put in the upgrade disk and upgrade all the components, then move to the installation. I use Enterprise Architect, so I am unsure if it is different from the version you are using.

All upgrades should be done from the disk set you have.
