The SQL Designer was a bad idea to begin with, and has nothing to do with SQL Expressions.
You need to explain what "I need version 9 to have the ability to create sqL statements as a formula." means. SQL can be used in SQL Expressions, but they are used in conjunction with the SQL created by the report in the interface.
Under the data source listed you may see Add Command, you can use this to paste in SQL as the data source of the report.
You state nothing of requirements, and English appears to be a barrier, so try posting:
crystal version
database/connectivity used
example data
expected output
You'll need to post some technical information, in particular your software version and database, and then you need to describe what you want it to do.
The database has to support SQL for instance...
You post, I explain theory and ask technical questions, and you ignore the questions.
