Please bear with me, as I am a novice to network administration!

I would like to install a particular program throughout the entire network. I know that Windows 2000 Server has RIS, which is mainly for 2000 Pro installations.

What would be the most practical method of installing the application network wide?

I wouldn't be too eager to say it's simple. I do agree it's simple to add an MSI to the GPO's.. hehe. Making them all work is another forum on it's own. :)

I do have active directory, but it limited in scope. There are a only a handful of 2000/XP computers, the rest are 95,98, and ME.

GPO's sound like a good idea for the handful...any suggestions for the rest?
