Hello everybody,
I've found many threads discussing dual-boot systems, but none actually explaining the basics of the actual installation process.
I'm running windows 2000 (on my C:\) and would like to install windows 98se - in order to recuperate some old backups made with the 98 backup utility that are illegible to the w2k backup utility (incidentally, if anyone knows a simpler way of doing this, please do tell).
Can I install 98 on my C:\ alongside w2k? I seem to remember reading somewhere that 98 has to be installed at the front of the drive anyway. Is this true in this case as well?
I have a second partition (D:\) on the same physical drive and an external drive as well.
All drives are in FAT32 format. Is converting to NTSF an option here?
Thanks for any help and sorry if I missed a post or an FAQ on this topic.
