hello, I need your guidance!! I just got a new ram memory card and a DVD burner. I wanna know if it is all right to install both at the same time or if I should install one first, and see if it works and then the other item. Any useful advice regarding this please!! :)

Definitely install the ram first, make sure all is well there. Bios and windows will both show new ram if all is well.

If that is a go then for the dvd burner all you have to do is set the jumper to either master or slave as needed and put the ide and power connectors on the burner and turn on your computer. If all is well it will show up in windows as a dvd drive. Then you install whatever burning software you want.

Always install one item at a time, reboot, make sure all is well, and go on to the next item, hardware or software.
