I have been trying to install a copy of Quark xpress5 on my standalone but the system keeps telling me that it cannot find the server licence administrator to validate.
how can I get around this.

I understand that you are trying to install the QLA Copy of QuarkXPress. Am I correct?

For this you need to have QLA running on the server. Well, there is a workaround for that ***)

You may run QLA copy on a stand alone system but it will work only for 5 days and will expire after that.

It is only for the emergency purpose. I will not recommend that.
