I have IIS 5.0 and I would like to find out if it is possible to install progams via IIS, e.g., MS Office. Certain executable files can run via IIS but when I tried doing the same thing for Office, it won't allow me to run the executable file. I'm trying to install office from another computer in our network (as opposed to doing it manually with a CD) and was testing if installing office via IIS would do it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, if you really wanted to do that you can do the following:

1.Chare your CDROM(s) on the network.
2.Copy the contents of the CDROMs to a shared folder.
3.If you are using SBS 4.5 or 2000, you can add the app to the setup of client systems and rerun the diskettes on the workstations.
