Our Unix Administrator installed ActivePerl-5.8 in the following directory

/usr/local/ActivePerl-5.8

I have installed the MIME:LITE module in the direcotry

/export/home/egate/.cpan/CPAN/MIME-Lite-2.117.tar

I'm not sure what I need to configure now to make my program work and know whether I Installed this module in the correct directory or not. Do I still need a C compiler???
can someone please help???

untar the file with the commands

cd /export/home/egate/.cpan/CPAN/
tar xvf MIME-Lite-2.117.tar

and there should be a README file in there for you Mike

"Experience is the comb that Nature gives us, after we are bald."

I never could get the hang
of writing those things.
