im an administrator of a win xp pro computer. I share mu comp with 3 others. I want to install a software but i dont want others to see what i installed and no icon should appear on their desktop. Theres no option in the installation process for the desktop icons. what should i do. thanks

Go to your C: drive and find a folder called documents and settings. Most likley the icons are in the all users folder. If they are desktop icons then check the desktop folder. If they are in the start programs then check the start menu programs folder. Once you find the icons you want to get rid of simply delete them or cut and paste them to your desktop only.
