Installing MS Exchange SMTP connector as a as a Mail RelayServer.

Can anyone please point me to some good documentation on the internet for for setting up MS Exchange SMTP Connector in my DMZ to act as my Mail Relay server to pass mail to my Exchange Server on my protected network?

I am currently using Network Associates Webshield SMTP 4.5 for MS Exchange in my DMZ. I would like to remove Webshield because of it's lack of Anti-spam/Black listing features.
