Hi,
Although this sounds crazy I have a third-party software supplier requesting that MS Access 97 be installed onto our Server for their product to work.
The Server O/S is Windows 2000 (SP2) and after installing the software it returns an error stating that the system.mdw (the access security file) could not be added to system32 directory.
Since I'm using local admin rights there are no permissions issues for that directory.
I have two questions:
1) Is it sensible to install Access 97 on a Windows 2000 server?
2) Has anyone tried successfully or got around the system.mdw issue.
Many Thanks
