Actually two questions:

1. If I have an Option 11 voice mail sitting in my lab that I want to send to a site and install because they all of a sudden are in need, am I going to run into issues with site IDs and what not with Nortel?

2. Without burdening you all with spelling out all the details, remind me (via the steps necessary) what is involved in programming it to work with the Opt11? I know you have to create the AML link in Ld 17 and the agent ports, but what else?

Have not done one in a hundred years. Thanks.

Appreciate it.

not that much, the acd group in 23, with mwc yes, then the agents and and the aml, put it in card slot 10 (for some reason,

First you have to have the serial number of the MerMail match the serial number of the PBX you will install it in. No tbl with NORTEL but the hardware. IT WILL NEVER come up if the serial numbers dont match.

In an Opt 11 ,unless you remove them, an AML (9) and LSL (8) is aready built and is availabe in slot 10 of the main cabinet.

The only other programming need is the acd in the PBX.

I was afraid of the serial number thing. Suppose there is no way to get that changed without contacting a vendor who has Nortel contact and paying a small fortu...fee?

YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO BUILD THE IMS_DATA IN LD 15 BEFORE YOU START WITH LD 23
