Installing linux 7.2

Hi All:
How long does it take to install linux 7.2 on a PII system?

Experience it, there is no substitute.

It depends on the distro and the packages you select to install. If you choose all the packages, it could take anywhere from several minutes (about 45) to over an hour.

Last time I tried it toke me more than five hours for full istall, but may be something was wrong????

You don't say at what speed the computer is running. There are many things that affect the speed of the install. As RythmAce says it depends on what you are installing and the speed of the CPU, RAM, HD, CDROM and others. If you don't need 7.2 for a specific reason try one of the newer versions.
