Hello,
I'm just wondering if I can install the IIS from the windows 2000 server cd into my system running windows 2000 professional? I'm trying to increase the users on my intranet and I can't upgrade to 2000 server. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

A.DAvis

Actually you don't need the 2000 server cd. From your win2000 professional go to the control panel - add/remove programs - add/remove windows components - then select IIS.

That should do it!

Hello,
The problem is that I'm limited to 10 connections and I'm trying to run an Intranet with more users. I have windows 2000 server but It won't let me upgrade from 2000 Professional. Any ideas?

Thanks for any advice,

Aaron Davis

I believe that the're not limitations on the connections, unless you are using SQL or remote access client..

Aaron, since you are using IIS from Windows 2000 Professional you will always been limited by 10 connections. And those 10 means all kind (file share, database access...). Gia Betiu
