I have a 7410 phone, 500A1 universal base unit(UBU), and headset components.

The UBU has a power supply with some goffy lookin' RJ11 jack that I assume connects to it.

How do I connect the power supply to the UBU, and the UBU to the phone? I can't find any installation documentation.

You should also have a white plastic adaptor to hook them all together. The adaptor would plug into the wall jack, there is a rj11 size connector that connects to the power supply and then you run a rj45 cable to the phone set. Power is sent through on pins 7&8. You then connect the 500a1 to the phone sets aux jack and plug in the headset.
If you are missing the plastic adaptor and have access to the patch panel you can connect the power supply at that point also.

yes I do have the splitter. and a cable w/RJ11 & one w/RJ45 connectors.
So, splitter to wall, RJ45 to phone, RJ11 to power supply.
2nd RJ45 from AUX port to port on UBU?

Oh yeah, how do I connect the RJ11 jack thingy to the power supply?

The RJ11 block connects to the power supply, so that it is flush with the bottom. (the bottom being where the prongs are) (opposite the logo)

There should be two metal tabs that slide into the screws on the bottom of the PWR Sup. The Jack itself will face you if you hold the pwr sup such that you can read the logo.
