For those people using Roland Weigelt's GhostDoc, there's a known problem with the installer under Windows Vista.

To get around this, go to the Visual Studio 2005 tools under the Start menu, and right-click on the CommandPrompt menu item, and select "Run As Administrator".

Now change directories to where the GhostDoc1.9.4.msi file is, and execute it. The setup will now work because now you're running with administrator priviledges.

As an added note : my vista computer just crashed - for no apparent reason. You have to love a beta release. :)

Has anyone made IIS function properly in Vista? Has anyone played with the 3.0 framework?

Forgot to make clear - when you change directories and run the .msi file, you're doing it via the command line.
Code:
C:\>cd \download\ghostdoc194
C:\download\ghostdoc194>GhostDoc1.9.4.msi

Vista has been pretty good so far -- only real annoyances are:
1. Explorer is slow to respond - I think it's doing DNS queries.
2. IE7 is nice looking, but I'm finding I need to use Safari on the Mac for online banking, ordering from Amazon, etc.

site said:
experimental support for VB.Net (turned off by default, see documentation)

Did you test it with vb.net?

Sorry, I'm more of a C# developer, so I don't really use VB.NET. But why not give it a try?

yeah I will, but it said experimental so I tought I'd ask a professional opinion.

BTW I know you use nunit for testing and I would recommend testrunner if you like a more graphical approach from within the IDE.
