We have an existing windows 2000 server with CRM 3.0 pointing to a SQL 2005 instance. This was originally installed when we had sql 2000, but have since upgraded sql then just re-pointed the crm to new server.
We have a new windows 2003 server that we'd like to "move" CRM 3.0 to, so I'm trying to install CRM 3.0 on it, pointing to the sql 2005 instance, but am getting errors:
MS SQL Server machinename invalid and it doesn't accept the SQL Report Server URL either (even though I can access it on that server with IE).
I have already done the TK of updating the network service sql login, but it still will not install. I want to make sure I have CRM 3.0 up and running on the new server before even attempting the CRM 4.0 upgrade.
