Hy,<br><br>To send emails using IIS, I can use the CDONTS built in object included. But on the server here, there's nothing. What have I to install? The SMTP service? MAPI, CDONTS? I really don't know IIS and the administrator is really cold!<br>It's not a VBScript question but there's no other forum more adapted.<br><br>Thanks a lot for your help. bye<br> Kay<br>

Installing CDONTS on IIS?

Hi,<br><br>If your NT-server has got NT Option Pack-4.0 installed that is enough to instantiate CDONTS object.<br>Ofcourse with Nt Option pack-4.0 ,SMTP Server is bundeled with IIS .<br><br>CDO-NTS and SMTP server is needed..so just check it up.<br>SMTP server does the job of sending and receiving the mails .if SMTP is configured i think u should be able to use CDO-NTS.<br><br>BYE.<br>Vinod
