Installing Backup Exec on NAS device

Is it bad to do this? We're getting a Dell PowerVault 745N (to use for backup-to-disk and user file storage), and since it's running Windows Storage Server 2003, I could load Backup Exec right onto it. I realize the application will eat up some RAM... other than that, any downsides? It'd be nice to keep everything together.
