Hi all,
I've a Solaris 7 setup for installing a Server but im using Solaris 8 OS. During the initial install of Solaris, according to the instruction, on step 'Allocate Client Services?' there is an option 'Allocate' where you can allocate spaces for client systems, but Solaris 8 doesn't seem to give this option, how do I go about this on Solaris 8???

Thanks Thanks,
tomii

I am not sure if I understand your question...

I think you define filesystems or shares during installation for an AutoClient etc.
If it is a share just create the filesystem after installation and share it
-> look at manpages of format, newfs, share_nfs
