I was assigned this week to install a SCSI card. I was given only the card, no documentation, from my supervisor. I have never installed a SCSI card, and was wondering if anyone had any tips for me. I am installing this on an IDE machine.
Install it as you would any expansion card. You will need to install the drivers for the card as well, and drivers for the hardware you are connecting to the card.
Depending on your OS, you may find that you have lucked out and the system has found the card for you. Ed Fair

Depending on OS, adding a SCSI card in add hardware will load the correct drivers.
What OS, by the way? Ed Fair

2K ought to recognise it. Try adding it in hardware. Ed Fair
