Installing a new Tape Drive

The tape drive in our Dell PowerEdge 1500SC died. Dell sent a replacement and I've installed it in the server.

Now, Veratas 8.6 doesn't recognize the new tape drive.

I've tried add a new device via the devices tab in Backup Exec, but it doesn't "see" any drives to add.

Device manager in windows does show the drive as available and running properly.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Update to the latest Veritas Tape Drivers for 8.6. The firmware most likely changed
