Does anyone know if I can istall Exchange 5.5 on Windows 2003 Server? The DC is not 2003, this will be just a stand alone server.

What about Outlook Web Access for Exchange 5.5? Does that work on the Windows 2003 Server?

Yes it should. I have a 2003 web server and all it does is redirect to the Exchange server.

The 2003 will not be a front end server. It will be server running IIS and hopefully the Exchange 5.5 Disk will let me install OWA on it. Has anyone done this?

How do you do this?

As far as I know, to install Exchange 5.5 OWA, you need to install components from the Exchange 5.5 CD. Windows 2003 does not allow you to run Exchange 5.5 CD. Can someone eleborate on this comment?

I copied OWA from our old server to the new. Then I loaded the exchfilt.dll from the cd. I had to put it into c:\windows\system32\inetserv\ you should restart your web services in order for the dll to load correctly. When the services are reloaded, check in the ISAPI Filters tab. The dll should have a green arrow going up. If it's not there, then there is something wrong with your dll, which I ran into as well. Give it a shot and let me know how it goes.
