Installer problem

When I try to install some programs the Windows installer starts normally, but after I few steps I get a screen:

"The wizard was interrupted before xxx could be completely installed."

So it's impossible to install these programs.

I already reinstalled the Windows installer (instmsiw.exe 2.0.2600.0) but this doesn't help.

Try going to c:\Documents and Settings\<your login username>\Local Settings\Temp (Local Settings is hidden, so you must show hidden files). In the temp folder, delete everything. Then try running your installer again.
