I have a windows 2000 domain with active directory. I had another computer with windows 2000 server and no active directory, which I use for my work computer.

I upgraded my computer to windows 2003 sever and I can't access the internet or see my domain controller with the active directory files.

My network activity went from over 2000 packets sent and over 1800 packets received to 64 sent and less than 50 received and I can't access the network.

Can anyone tell me why this happend to my network protocal after upgrading to 2003?

Thanks ahead of time

For starters, run Dcdiag.exe, netdiag.exe, nslookup from your server. Does your server have static ip, default gateway, correct default gateway, preferred/alternate DNS, DNS sufix...odds are you have DNS improperly setup
