Hello everyone,

I recently had a MAP100 Audix system installed a few days ago. Everything seems to be working fine, but when users call into the system they don't get the normal "Welcome To Audix" greeting. They hear the message the extension you called is not available. Currently the only way they can enter their mailbox is to use *r.

I have added the main hunt group extension as a subscriber (COS has extension format) but it's still not working. What have I missed?

Any ideas?

Go into Audix and 'change auto-attend-routing routing-table'. Enter your hunt group extension in incoming called number. Business schedule is login.

Thanks for the tip. I added the information to the table but it's still going to the wrong message. I might need to look at something else.

The main hunt group pextension should not be a subscriber, but that's not the problem.

On the hunt group for audix page 2. Message Center = audix

Also, you are calling the hunt group extension and not the members themselves, right?

In the hunt group page 3 are message center and message center AUDIX name set to audix?
We had the same problem when we installed and I think that was one of the things that caused us not to get the right message.

Is this a analog integration between the Audix and the G3R? Do you have a Link or a data module between the G3 and Audix? If not your Audix ports must be defined in the G3 as VMI in the set type field on the station pages.

Hope this is it

Thanks for the info guys. I think the problem may be the hunt group setting on the PBX side. I will take a look at the PBX and report back.

If this is an analogue integration double check your cables, if they are the wrong way round you will get this

The hunt group must also be set for MSA-VMI.

Just a thought

It sounds like your voicemail is not actually integrated. Who installed the system? There are many things that have to be done on the VM side as well as the PBX side to ensure a sucessful integration. Until all steps are completed, you are not going to get the "Welcome to Audix" message.

I think the problem has to do with the numbering of the voiceports in relation to the extension of the pabx.If you have 4 analog extensions for example 100,101,102,103, port 100 has to be one most right-side of the voicecard of the intuity. If some are mixed then you will hear the message you recently discribed.
