Hi,

Hoping you can help with this bizarre problem. I was running ColdFusion MX on my Windows 2000 server with IIS 5.0 and last night I installed the 6.1 updgrade. Everything appeared to go smoothly but now I notice that I can't access my websites outside my firewall.

I can't even connect to FTP or display standard html files while outside the firewall. If I remote into the server and call up the server's web browser, my html and coldFusion pages display just fine.

ColdFusion services, SQL Server and IIS services are all started and appear to be in working order. I rebooted a couple of times but still no luck.

Does anyone have any advice, I'm out of ideas and am about to try to reinstall IIS and ColdFusion MX 6.1 to see if that helps? Could the upgrade have corrupted my IIS?

Thanks!

Mike

Sounds like a problem with the Firewall, not CF/IIS. If everything is working fine behind the Firewall, but not outside of it, then that means that the Firewall is not letting the web stuff through to the outside. It's probably just a coincidence that you did your updates last night, unless you changed some ports on the web server and the Firewall doesn't know about the new ports.

Hope This Helps!

Thanks so much for the response. That's what I'm figuring too. I will try to get with the server administrator and check out the firewall.
