installboot question

I had two mirrored root disks under Veritas control. One of the disks failed, I got it replaced, placed under Veritas control and mirrored. Everything appears to be fine, except I cannot boot from the replaced disk. Do I need to run the installboot command to that drive, or am I missing something else?
